Douglas Bellen is a graduate of the University of Michigan, studying with Lowell Greer, Bryan Kennedy, and Corbin Wagner. In addition to performing with orchestras in Michigan and Arkansas, he has performed with the New Mexico Symphony, Santa Fe Symphony, San Juan Symphony, and Roswell Symphony. Douglas is also a member of the Bosque Chamber Music Society. As an educator with the Albuquerque Public Schools, he has been a featured clinician for the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs, as well as an active member of the New Mexico American Orff-Schulwerk Association.
